During the ‘90s the streets of both New York and San Francisco were filled with both roller pieces and large drippy tags with the KR signature. This was way before there were large brands and manufacturers that produced markers and spray paint adapted for graffiti. Craig Castello a.k.a KR started experimenting early by making his own markers and mixing his own paint. He even started selling his paint mixes to friends and when he teamed up with the guys behind Alife in 1998, the brand KRINK was created.
